  • $160 — Single sport (Swim or Dive)
  • $260 — Both Swim and Dive
  • Multi‑athlete families:
    • The 1st through 3rd athletes are $160 for a single sport
    • The 4th athlete and beyond is $75 (single sport) and $150 (both swim and dive)

New Swimmer Evaluations
Oakwood Swim and Racquet Club
Start: 5:00 PM
End: 7:30 PM

All swimmers that are NEW to the Stingray Team, no matter what age, are required to come to New Swimmer Evaluations.

  • Skill Assessment: Our experienced coaches will conduct a thorough evaluation of each swimmer's skills, including stroke technique, endurance, and overall water comfort.
  • Team Placement: Based on the evaluation, swimmers will be placed in the appropriate group within the Oakwood Swim Team, ensuring they receive the right level of training and support.
  • Swim Lessons Recommendation: For those who may need a bit more practice before joining the team, we offer recommendations for swim lessons to help build confidence and skills in the water, we will have a swim instructor onsite who can answer questions about the program. 

Wed May 13

Swim Team Afternoon Practices Begin
Oakwood Swim and Racquet Club

We will start having afternoon practices today. They will be Monday - Friday. Come as much as you can! We understand that kiddos are still in school and may have final exams, after school sports practices, etc.

4:30 - 5:30 pm 11 and up

5:30 - 6:30 pm 10 and under

6:30 - 7:00 pm Jr Rays

Swim and Dive Team Swimsuit Fittings
Start: 4:00 PM
End: 7:00 PM
  • Swim N Tri will be at Oakwood from 4pm-7pm for you to try on the team swimsuit and will also have equipment like goggles/caps for sale!
  • If you would like to look at the suit options please visit our Team Store Portal
  • You can order suits in person with Swim N Tri that night or place an order in the portal

Thu May 21

Parent Meeting!

Please join us for our annual Swim Team Parent Meeting where we will go over everything you need to know for the season! The meeting will be held during your child's normal practice time! If you have children in multiple groups, just pick one!

4:30 - 5:30 pm - meeting with 11 and up swimmer parents

5:30 - 6:30 pm - meeting with parents of 10 and under swimmers

6:30 - 7:00 pm - meeting with parents of Jr Ray swimmers

Swim Team Morning Practices Begin, Afternoon Practices Continue
Oakwood Swim and Racquet Club

We will begin morning practices today on Monday - Wednesday, and Fridays. We will also continue to offer afternoon practices Monday to Wednesday.

Morning practice (M,T, W,F)

  • 8:00 am to 9:00 am - 11 years old and up
  • 9:00 am to 10:00 am - 10 years old and under
  • 10:00 am to 10:30am - Jr Rays

Afternoon practice (M,T, W)

  • 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm - 11 and up
  • 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm - 10 years old and under
  • 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm - Jr Rays

**It is not required that swimmers attend BOTH AM and PM practices, they can choose one or the other.**

Thu May 28

Oakwood 2026 - Intrasquad Meet
Oakwood Swim and Racquet Club Club
Start: 5:00 PM
Warm-up: 4:30 PM
End: 8:00 PM

Instead of practice today, we will have a "practice meet" that we call our Intrasquad Meet. Swimmers will only be competing against swimmers from our team, and it is a great way to practice! Parents will also be practicing some of the swim meet jobs!

4:00 PM - the pool deck will open for parents to come set up their chairs, etc.

4:30 pm - informational meeting for all parents to go over information about swim meets; swimmers will warm up

5:00 pm - meet starts

Completion of meet until 8:00 pm - open swim for families

Oakwood vs. CCM

Warm-up: 4:30 PM

Oakwood vs. Country Club of Mobile (CCM)

3:30 PM - the pool deck will open for parents to come set up their chairs, etc. Visiting team can set up by the baby pool or up above the competition pool. 

4:00 pm - Home Team (CCM warm up begins)

4:30 pm - Away Team (OSRC warm up begins) - plan on arriving to the pool 15 min before warm ups start

4:45 pm - Meet volunteer Meeting

5:00 pm - Meet Starts with Jr. Rays swimming first
