Welcome to the Oakwood Swim and Dive team for Summer 2026! We are thrilled to have you join the best team EVER!Β A team of incredibly talented athletes, dedicated coaches and the best swim parents around! Get ready for an unforgettable summer filled with exciting competition, personal growth, and lasting friendships.Β 

Team Philosophy: At Oakwood, our philosophy is centered around creating a fun and supportive environment where our athletes can make lasting memories, share lots of laughter, and enjoy plenty of fresh air, sunshine and exercise!Β Β 

Awards and Achievements: Oakwood Swim Team is the current "small pool" CHAMPION winning top points at the MCAL Championship in July 2023!

Fundraising:Β Each summer our swimmers participate in a Swim-a-Thon, this endurance challenge helps us raise funds to help improve the swim team program. Last summer we raised nearly $5,000. With the funds, we will purchase team equipment including practice fins and a new tent!

Fees: Can be paid by check in person at OSRC or by debit/credit card during the online registration process.Β 

Equipment:

  • Goggles
  • Towel
  • Royal blue swimsuit for swim meets – can be team suit (purchased at Swim and Tri on Old Shell Road. Click here for the Swim & Tri Team Portal to see suits and other team gear) or can be any plain royal blue suit. There will be a team suit fitting day scheduled before the deadline to order.
  • Swimsuit for practices - One-piece suits must be worn by girls during swim or dive team practices; no 2 pieces allowed. Boys may wear regular swimsuits, but tighter fitting β€œjammers” or β€œbriefs” are preferred. Swimsuits for practice do not have to be purchased from Swim N Tri.
  • Swim cap - provided by the team (First cap is free! Extra, lost, or damaged caps can be replaced for $10). Must be worn at all meets, wearing during practice is optional. You may want to purchase an extra cap for practices - can be team cap or any other fun cap you like!
  • Kickboards will be provided for all swimmers
  • Pull buoys will be provided for all swimmers
  • Oakwood will have fins that can be shared between swimmers. It is NOT required that swimmers purchase their own. However, if you would like your child to have their own, personal pair that is perfectly fine. The recommended fins can be purchased hereΒ
