Dear future Stingray,
Welcome to the Oakwood Swim and Dive team for Summer 2026! We are thrilled to have you join the best team EVER! A team of incredibly talented athletes, dedicated coaches and the best swim parents around! Get ready for an unforgettable summer filled with exciting competition, personal growth, and lasting friendships.
Team Philosophy: At Oakwood, our philosophy is centered around creating a fun and supportive environment where our athletes can make lasting memories, share lots of laughter, and enjoy plenty of fresh air, sunshine and exercise!
Fundraising: Each summer our swimmers participate in a Swim-a-Thon, this endurance challenge helps us raise funds to help improve the swim team program. Over the past 3 years we've raised more than $12,000. Funds have been used to purchase team equipment including: fins, pull buoys, a new timing system, a sound system, team tents, backstroke flags. We will also use some of the funds to help with pool improvements (that also help the swim team!) some of the items we've purchased to share with the pool include: Oakwood branded tents, heavy duty outdoor fans and more improvements planned for 2026!
